About Helly:

Helly’s arrived to us from Cherusker Border Collie Kennel, Germany after a pretty long process searching, investigating and waiting. But it has been wroth it 100%.
She is exceptionally intelligent, sometimes the way how she comprehends and to processes what happens around her is almost human. She is able to learn new things very easily, and in work she actually likes to play more the partner role rather, than being unconditionally obedient or to do blindly what she is asked to do.
She wraps us, the other dogs in the family easily, around her finger to enforce her will in her extra cute, cunning, but determined way.

At the same time she obeys well our commands, but adding her creativity and style to the process. I think it is a good thing that she’s not our first border collie ever. 😀
She is very stable and she never takes over nor reacts to any negative energy from other dogs or humans. Especially when we need to ask her to do something, the best for her, is if we can make her understand why is good for her to do that, instead of pushing her in any way.
She simply adores agility, and she is very talented too, and she is also very fast. Her jumps are perfect, she almost never hits bars (not even during training) and she always executes the commands very precisely. Then no surprise, she actually jumped into the next category, from A1 to A2 in record time – one month.
Here is her 3 clean runs in A1 chategory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LY6Vy4jQ3VE

She has reached the A3 chategory also in record time with 5 golden medal:

She is very friendly both with humans and dogs, she likes the kids too. Being very stable she accept anything from us (for example she wore a decorative hair band during the New Year’s Eve in a very cute way without shaking it off her head).
She loves play with any kind of toys, she’s favourite are the balls. She brings her toys back as fast as possible, without slowing down. Often crashing into people’s stomachs 😀
It is not surprising that she also loves to swim, even her very first encounter with a small river was memorable, because at 4 months old she jumped into the water and didn’t want to come out. This ‘I won’t come out of the water if I finally in it’ attitude remained later, after a long training session I managed to taught her that she must swim back to shore at the first word. 😀
She is just amazing in herding, she really has the best instincts for it.
I think you can never get bored with such a dog. <3
She behaves very well at home, especially after she had tasks to do: for example: you played with her, or tought someting to her. Then she is very calm and peaceful, or she finds occupations for herself to play alone or with the other dogs.

Fluffy fur, small stature, fire, ability to work, intelligence, high problem-solving skills, independent will, these together characterize her. She is a very talented, tireless, hard-working dog. <3 The best! At least for us.

We’ll be grateful forever for the moment when she chose us to be her family. Because yes, she’d chosen us, when we visited the owner to choose a pup, she sat just down into my husband’s lap and she didn’t want to go away anymore. It was obvious she will be the new member of our family.
